Deepika Padukone depict 17th Century charm in 'Rana': Deepika Padukone , 25, will depict 17th century charm in her trilingual-Tamil, Telugu and Hindi – film Rana with co-star Rajnikanth.

She shot her first scene for the film Friday, April 29 in Chennai, a solo move succession scored by AR Rahman.

"It'll be a period look, as the film is situated in the 17th century, my look and hair will be finished in a quite unexpected method. Outfit creator Neeta Lulla, who has took care of films such as Devdas, has worked hard on my look and turn out with shining effects. It's a 17th century look with a south Indian touch," Deepika told TOI.

Deepika's 60-year-old co-star Rajnikanth fell tired on day one shoot and had to be raced to the doctor's facility. He has been prescribed finish rest for a few days.

As per director K. S. Ravikumar, Rajnikanth is anyways wanted much later in the docket; his part could be shot in London.
